  • Kindergarten and Cradle Road: $5

Ingathering is a program in the Seventh-day Adventist Church around the world when the members go to the public to invite them to contribute to the community services work of the church. Here are important things to remember when soliciting funds for the church:

  1. Always have the official literature and signature card with you. We have a colorful handout, produced by the Conference, about the work done last year. The Bahamas Conference informs the Government and Police Force each year when Ingathering begins.
  2. Do not stand at mall entrances, stores, or street corners without prior knowledge of the pastor and permission from the store managers. Some businesses do not allow solicitations.
  3. Be properly dressed, representing your church with a smile.
  4. Persons going to businesses, must get an official letter (available in the church office) to send to these persons before you visit them. If possible, make an appointment. All checks are made payable to the Living Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church.
  5. Funds are to be identified on an envelope and turned in to the treasurer each Sabbath or Wednesday night, or can be placed in the offering plate during collection time, or can be given to your Sabbath School teacher
