Saturday night, February
11, 2012, at 7:00 p.m., there will be an exciting family social for
every member, friend, and visitor of Living Faith. It is called “Create
a Family Night.” Everyone is invited to get involved.
HOW TO CREATE A FAMILY: Here is what it is all
about. Persons are to “create” a family by selecting other persons to
join their family as husband, wife, single parent, mom, dad, sister, brother, uncle, grandmother,
grandfather, great great grandfather, favorite pet, dog, butler, helper,
etc. Although not everyone of these suggested “family members” must be
in every family, we are encouraging you to be as creative as possible.
Use your imagination. Dress and act the part you are representing. If
someone is a dog, that person is to act like a dog and dress (as best as
he can) to look like one. The dog can be on a leash. The family can be
a representation of an historical, Biblical, or contemporary family.
This is going to be fun.
Family members can be
from your real family and anyone else. Every member of the family,
including the dog or goat, must be a person who attends Living
Faith—member or regular visitor. At the appropriate time during the
social, a member from each family will be asked to introduce the family
members and state the part they are playing.
THREE PRIZES: Prizes will be given to the following
families:
- The largest family
- The most creative
family (costume)
- The most authentic
family (how real, natural)
There will also other
exciting activities. It is going to be fun.
THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED: Terrel
Adderley, a member of Living Faith; and Schamell Sweeting, a member of
Message of Hope, will be joined in Holy Matrimony on Sunday, February
